- In DirectAdmin choose WordPress
- Open hamburger menu (install this application) and choose ‘Import existing installation’
- Enter all details. Usually you can skip the optional fields.
- Source
- Enter source url: the address of the website you need to clone.
- Website: https://www.yourdomain.com/
- If the website is installed in a subfolder, you need to add the subfolder. Example:
- Website: https://www.yourdomain.com/wordpress
- FTP protocol
- FTP address
- FTP post
- FTP User
- FTP Password
- Path: the FTP path to the WordPress installation. If WP is installed in a subfolder, you need the path to the subfolder.
Example: /domains/yourdomain.com/public_html/wordpress
- Target
- Select target domain (you see a list with all http/https/www variants.
Best: https://www.yourdomain.com) - Automatically create database
- Select target domain (you see a list with all http/https/www variants.
- Click [Import]
- Keep Installatron?
- For backups: specify a backup schedule.
- Not for update: disable auto updates
- Don’t want to keep using Installatron?
- Click the hamburger menu icon »detach
- Remove /wp-content/mu-plugins/automation-by-installatron.php
